CasinosBroker checks a listing before it is shown to buyers. This page explains what that check is, and what it is not.

What “verified” means

Figures on a listing come from the seller. Where the seller provides documents, CasinosBroker checks the figures against those documents and tells the buyer what was reviewed.

What is checked

  • Corporate ownership: who owns the shares or the assets, and who is allowed to sign.
  • Licence: jurisdiction, holder, status, and whether the licence can transfer.
  • GGR and NGR: seller figures checked against the statements provided, not rebuilt from source systems unless those systems are shared.
  • Bank and payment statements: used to test whether reported revenue has a matching cash trail.
  • Traffic: source, trend, and whether the traffic is owned or rented.
  • Player metrics: activity, concentration, and whether a small group of players produces most of the revenue.
  • Affiliate contracts: ownership of the commercial terms, and what ends at completion.
  • Platform agreement: white-label or platform contract, notice period, and change-of-control terms.
  • AML and KYC: whether a programme exists and whether obvious gaps would block a buyer.
  • Regulatory issues: open complaints, licence conditions, and grey-market exposure.
  • Liabilities: debt, tax, player balances, and disputes that travel with the asset.
  • Seller authority: that the person instructing CasinosBroker can sell.

The public site has described this as a 30-point screen. The categories above are the screen. A point is recorded only when a document or a direct answer supports it. A missing document is a gap, not a pass.

Valuation methodology

Valuations on this site are comparisons with closed transactions, not a formula applied to any online business. The observed set is 53 closed iGaming deals since 2021. The describable subset is published on the track record. The rest are confidential.

Valuation ranges are drawn from completed transactions. A range is quoted with the number of transactions behind it, the years covered, and whether the figure is a median.

A quoted range states the sample, the period, and whether the price was disclosed or estimated.

Median close time is a separate fact. It is 90 days from signed mandate to close, not from first contact and not from LOI. The fastest observed close was 13 days.
