CasinosBroker cites a claim only when the source matches the type of claim.
- Regulatory statements use the regulator. Example: UK Gambling Commission industry statistics, April 2025 to March 2026, report £17.5 billion total customer-facing GGY and £8.3 billion for remote casino, betting and bingo. The Curaçao Gaming Authority is the current regulator, and the LOK entered into force on 24 December 2024.
- Market-size claims use a regulator or a named market dataset. Market descriptions use the figure the source actually reports.
- Transaction claims use a company announcement, a securities filing, a regulator, or a trade publication. If none of those exists, the transaction is not given a public deal page.
- Valuation observations use the CasinosBroker closed-deal set and say the sample size, the years, and whether the figure is a median. The closed-deal count is 53 since 2021. Ten of those can be described on the track record. The rest are confidential.
The acquisitions database publishes industry transactions that have a public source, with the buyer, seller, year, and source on the row.
