RSI has expanded its gaming portfolio by introducing BetRivers Poker in three new states, marking a significant step in its regional growth strategy. This launch brings enhanced online poker experiences to players in these markets, further solidifying RSI’s position in the competitive online gaming industry

Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a leading operator in online casino and sports betting across North and South America, has officially launched its proprietary online poker platform, BetRivers Poker, in Delaware, Michigan, and West Virginia.

RSI Unveils Significant Poker Market Expansion

Following BetRivers Poker’s successful debut in Pennsylvania in late 2024, this strategic expansion now unites player pools from four states, creating a dynamic, cross-state poker ecosystem. Powered by the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), this move allows seamless integration of player liquidity across state borders, resulting in heightened competition, larger tournament prize pools, and an expanded variety of poker games.

By consolidating poker player pools in all four operating states, Rush Street Interactive is creating one of the most competitive and robust online poker networks in the region. This shared liquidity model promises players access to deeper cash games, more frequent high-stakes tournaments, and a richer game selection than ever before.

RSI highlights that the integrated poker network is designed to elevate the experience for both casual players and high-volume pros alike, enabling bigger, more exciting tournaments and diverse game formats. The expansion follows RSI’s announcement of a 21% year-over-year revenue surge in Q1 2025, positioning the company for continued growth as it broadens BetRivers Poker’s footprint.

Leadership Comments on the Expansion

RSI CEO Richard Schwartz expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, emphasizing that unifying player pools across states is a pivotal step forward for BetRivers Poker. He noted that this growth will attract more players, enrich gameplay variety, and boost tournament prize pools significantly.

The platform’s development has been informed by extensive input from the poker community, notably from esteemed professional and industry pioneer Phil Galfond. Galfond’s involvement has been instrumental in refining the platform’s features and ensuring a fair, player-focused gaming experience.

Galfond described the expansion as a landmark achievement, highlighting that every player who joins is helping to shape the future of online poker. More than just individual sessions, each contribution supports building a platform that reinvests in and prioritizes the player community.
